We had to take him on a trip to Georgia (9 hours in the car) to pick up my daughter from college. Thanks to YT I tried Bonine. Well it worked. The trip was a great experience. He was relaxed and loved the ride. I also ordered a snoozer carseat but it didn't arrive in time for the trip but that seat is pure magic. Now he rides in the car in the seat and loves it. No drugs necessary. I just can't believe this rapid change. So for those of you who think car sickness lasts forever - you may just get lucky like we did. Hoping this lasts.

Thanks to all YTalkers who coached us through the car sickness challenge and helped us overcome it.

I was searching through the forums for anything on this problem since my yorkie throws up so much that her eyes are ready to pop out of her head. I feel bad everytime she throws up since I know it must feel horrible for her. What exactly is Bonine? Is it a seat that completely eliminates bumpiness or motion? My yorkie begins throwing up when we begin braking in particular. We always put her in the backseat in her crate with a towel since I know she will throw up.
