I was taught how to use the clicker by the SPCA in my area, but it's my personal choice not to use it. It's another option to use if treats alone don't work. |
I don't use the clicker all the time, but I do think it is a great tool to have in your toolbox.
I like using it for tricks, too. Once they learn something, I rarely use the clicker, unless I am doing a training session that includes something new. It is great for shaping.
