When I got Rocco, the breeder told me absolutely no furniture - even sitting on a lap - it's too dangerous and she knew someone who's puppy broke his neck when he wiggled off a lap and jumped from the couch.
She said beds are very dangerous for them too...they can easily break a bone even jumping from a moderate height. Yet, I see soooo many pictures and read so many stories about yorkies on furniture. Was my breeder just being overprotective when she warned me of this? FYI, Rocco does not go on any furniture, even on a lap.
