awe well i'm sure it's because he's not used to being handled and now that he's being handled he's got all this stuff happening to him... once you two build up the bond he will stop nipping. you're doing great!!!!

Chance update..........
Well we now have two ears that are opened up (not just one) and I can see the canals Whaaa-hoo! I think that the oral anti-fungal medicine is not making him feel to good. He refused to come out of his crate last night and when I reached in to get him he nipped at me.  He nipped at me again this morning when I gave him his medicine, poor baby I just think he is tired of being messed with but he has to have this stuff to get well....
