Thanks everyone for the encouragement!
Mom still is pretty anxious over baby and still needs help nursing, I don't think she likes me helping out; today I found her and the pup out of the whelping box and under my bed! I was so freaked out when I didn't see them in the box and mom didn't come when I called her. When I found them I was so scared for the little pup. Needless to say when I leave the room now I have to put her in the crate as much as I hate to do it. I've been with them practically 24/7 because I'm afraid to leave them alone. Does anyone know if mom will get better at caring for pup or not? |
