If you want to look up my previous posts I am going through this now. I have a pup whose head got scratched by a bow and it formed a scab that had to come off because it was infected. I trimmed up all the hair around it and am putting antibiotic cream on it. It's now turning into a scab again. The vet said not to let any hair get in it during the healing process or it could get infected again. So she's sporting a bald spot on top of her head.
