Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum but not to yorkies. My yorkie is 9 years old and suffering with horrible skin allergies. Every second of the day he is chewing away at himself. Sometimes he even chews himself raw. He's fed a grain free diet (EVO), and he has been to the vet several times for his allgeries. He has been put on medication but he never seems to get better. I hate seeing him like this. We don't know what to do anymore because nothing seems to help

. He's just a ball of health problems. He also has seizures.
I've also been noticing signs of an inner ear infection. He's been scratching his ears, tilting his head to one side, and shaking his head. I looked and his ears and they seem clean and fine. Is it true that inner ear infections can cause deafness in dogs? I guess this is another trip to the vet.
