Thanks for the compliment! His breeder checked Gold/Black on his registration papers. Breeders seem to know, especially since he was a lot older when he came home. He's not done changing yet! His face is still pretty "salt and pepper."
The tips of his ears are still black. I wonder when he'll be done "evolving" into his adult color?
To find what to check, I would ask your breeder. They should know how to evaluate their own pups.
