mine are not thrilled but i do it. I found it easiest to put them on the washer or dryer and do it. Dex still licks like crazy when doing it drives me nuts trying to get around his licker to get his teeth brushed. Make sure to do in circular motion to get below the gum line as the gum line is key but you do not want to damage the gums
