 Constant Crying
I am sure this is all normal but wanted to get some advice on the best way to handle my 9 week old new puppy constantly crying. She cries every time I am not near her even if she can see me whether she is in her pen, crate or if she is let free to walk around a bit. She is healthy, always in a place where she can see and smell us. My Biggie Smalls (who is now 3 yrs old) cried as a pup but not this bad. I used a can of pennies to correct him which I was told was NOT a good thing. I have been doing my best just to ignore her but when it goes from whining to whaling for more than 20 minutes it gets a bit tough. Is it best to just continue to ignore her? I want to ensure I do my best to not create any separation anxiety. |
