That is sooooo true! Smokey came to us at 6 months old and he had the WORST puppy hair ever. In the car back from being groomed his hair would already be a knotted mess, so she asked me to cut it all off. He was a dark, dark grey, almost black, but not quite, but when she cut him all down, he was almost white! If it wasn't for that precious little face, I wouldn't have believed he was my dog. Here is his somewhat before and after... That was his first haircut at about 8 months and that's how silver he was.
