I was not aware of a lawsuit or animal control being called. If that is the case then Mindy would be in the care of then at this point.
Maybe MotherYorkie can help you get the help that she needs but there really is nothing more that I can do. If you sell and ship puppies on a regular basis you know way more about shipping a dog then I do. If MY is willing to help connect you with a behaviorist then I suggest you take her up on the offer and ship her to where ever need be.
When you take in rescues you are making a commitment to that animal to do whatever it takes emotionally and financially. When individuals try to do it privately without the backing of an organization it makes it more difficult but a commitment was made. If you and your husband is are not willing to ship her maybe the guy who gave her to you will help with the shipping.  This is all part of responsible pet ownership. |
How come people do not read the entire thread? The same day I posted about Mindy I came back and answered some questions.. I never said I was being sued!!!!! I never said animal control was called. I was concerned they would be by the family of the kid who got bit because they threatened it.
I tried 4 different times to get this rescue to call me so i could talk to them, they never did! I wrote the last time asking about the home she would be staying with and mentioned about the threats of being sued in that email.
I wanted to make sure they could actually help her, and how they would do that. these are all easy questions but instead she tells me they WONT take her.
I took her back 2 times when the placements did not work out, I didn't have to. so I think I have been pretty committed to Mindy, I have a responsibility to my dogs who I have had since pups and they come first.
yep I shouldn't of taken Mindy, and I wouldn't have if I had known she was like this. Get Miko to pay for airfare or whatever? Ya right, like that is going to happen..Don't forget this guy lied to us about Mindy so we would take her.
Just because I breed sometimes doesn't mean I have any extra money. We have already put a lot of time and money into Mindy. I cannot do it any more. Do I pay my 400.00 power bill or ship Mindy? hmm gee
Why wont this rescue take her now? Did they not know she attacks other dogs and people? That is the same rescue I contacted before on my own who ignored my pleas for help...
I am too stressed an upset to write any more so I am signing off and taking a break for a few days..
