Copper was neutered on Monday. I was nervous and so was he. Everything went very well. My vets are the best. The office called the next day to see how he was doing and talked to me about my concerns.
I felt sad to to this to him, but after doing lots of research, it did seem like it was for the best. I'm not a breeder and don't want to make money on my dog. I just wanted a pet and companion to hang out with!
When I found out Copper was going to have to spend the day at the vet, I decided I couldn't sit at home worrying, and I would have. I called a friend at the last minute and she went to breakfast with me and then invited me over to watch a movie. By the time we finished the two Twilight movies (good by the way), I called the vet and was able to pick Copper up. Having good friends is such a blessing!
Copper has a very teeny, tiny incision, but is well and energetic again. I'm glad it is over!
