 EmmaLee had to go back in to surgery
She just wasn't acting right. My parents took her to their regular vet (instead of the 'specialist' who did the surgery) who diagnosed her with the hernia repair being done incorrectly. When they opened her up they found infected tissue and the muscle tight around the hernia.
She's doing ok right now. She'll be able to come home either this evening or tomorrow depending on how she tolerates fluid. Then she'll be on antibiotics for a few days.
The hardest part is going to be keeping her big brother away from her. He's been lost all day without her. |
