I'm WAY too afraid that I will totally butcher Jackson's hair so I have yet to do it and fork out $50 every 8-10 weeks to get him groomed professionally. But I've been lucky to find 2 really good groomers that listen to what I want. I will keep up in between sometimes by using scissors to trim the ear hair (his ear hair seems to grow faster, and makes his ears look even bigger! LOL) and the little pieces that grow into his eyes I will trim up, as well as his butt. But that's about it.
Anyways, even though I don't groom myself, I prefer to keep Jackson short all year round, but I usually let it grow out a little bit in the winter time (but he's never in a long coat). I keep his tail long though and his face fuller, and body short. |
