When we 1st started looking for a Yorkie, I wanted a tiny little girl. The litter I was waiting on didn't produce any girls, so we took the cutest boy. Well, he's now a hefty 6lb. powerhouse, but I'm so glad he is. We've never been troubled by hypoglycemia or feeding issues. Also, Kimbo sleeps with us and it would be too nerve racking if he weighed 2 or 3 lbs.
That being said, if he would have turned out to be teeny tiny, I would have loved him the same. I just think I would have been a lot more worried.
