Everyone is giving you great advice. I can only add that we got Tucker 3 weeks after Bandit died and I felt a bit guilty too. But, he was the right puppy for us and in my heart i knew that he was meant to be ours. Bandit will always be loved by our whole family. Getting Tucker was a way to honor Bandit, if we hadn't loved him so much there wouldn't have been such a hole in our lives. I say go for it. You'll be amazed at how your heart has the capacity to grow and add the new pup, not replace Katie. Good luck with what ever you decide. |
