I guess it depends on what style of living you want and how far away from city-life you want to be. The Lexington area is nice.... there are several counties that are near Lexington that are decent.
Lexington is in Fayette Co..... others are Bourbon, Franklin, Woodford, Jessamine, Scott....... there are some very rural areas in these counties if you want privacy (and I mean out in the boonies privacy
