Completely unacceptable! He looks like the elephant man with all the crusty bumps, scales etc. He absolutely stinks with a yeasty smell this poor baby.
The first night I greased him down from head to toe with virgin coconut oil. This morning he looked a little better with hunks of skin dropping off. The inside of his ears soften up but still shut.
Then I talked with my sister who worked for a prominent dermatologist here in Silicon Valley and she advised me to grease him up with Crisco- that is what I said? say what? well I did that today greased him from head to toe and wrapped him in saran wrap ( that was a challenge) and put him in a baby long nightie that I got at the salvation army to keep him warm. So will see how he has improved by tomorrow....I love this little guy already what a trooper! Foster mommy to Chance |
Oh Dear God who would let a dog get into this condition ! That poor poor little guy - the pictures (& his ears) say it all.....
I want to wish Chance and YOU all the best - you're an angel for getting him and giving him something he deserves - CARE and love
It makes me sick to think how long he's been suffering
