About a week ago I posted something about a bump on Precious's head. I thought maybe it could've gotten scratched by a bow on her head but I didn't think it was likely. Well over the week it's "scabbed" over. Really it's mostly just matted hair, etc over the scrape. So I bathed her and trimmed off the matted hair. And to my Horrific surprise I found a nickel sized open wound under the matted hair. It's in a perfect circle. My husband and I cleaned it off and put antibiotic ointment on it. I called the vet immediately and we are being seen in the morning. I feel like this is all my fault and what could possibly be over a stupid bow! Please say a prayer for Precious. She's so tiny. She's in good spirits though, the same baby girl as always. Now I'm nervous about everything, leaving her alone, her nails scratching it, leaving her in her kennel, etc....
