Oh Jen, my heart goes out to you so much that right now I think I'd say to do anything that brings you happiness and joy. If the time issue is what is holding you back, then I would say get her. If you are really REALLY in fear of her being so little and think you will be more nervous than happy around her then I would say don't get her. If that connection you and Jim felt for her feels so real (and you know when it is) then I would say get her. I just want you to be happy. Nothing will ever replace your losses and we all know that. There is absolutely nothing wrong with sharing the love you have with a different puppy and you shouldn't feel guilty or sad by thinking of the new pup as a "replacement". Have the man give you a good health warranty on the pup. I want you to be happy, not have more heart break. |
