A tip...shave his ears 1/4 way down, trim along the edges with scissors and yes this is still done with floppy ears. Also you can keep bangs but still allow the hair along the bridge of his nose to grow out. Eventually it will lay down and won't be in his eyes...it's so much simpler to keep neat than cutting/shaving that area.
