Welcome to YT. Yes it sounds like you were about to be scammed. It's a good thing you were told about it. One thing I wanted to tell you is that there is no such thing as a teacup. People use that term to try and get more money out of you. We like to call our littlest ones tiny. My Bailey is very tiny but I worry so much about her safety. She could get stepped on or she could get hurt jumping off of something. You really are on your guard when you have a tiny one around.
