I have had a couple of fosters that came to me with ear mites and my vet treated them with Acarexx. There were no problems with it. Yes, it is marketed for cats, but I do know that vets use it on dogs. If you are uncomfortable with this, you should call your vet tomorrow for an explanation.
As for her annual vaccinations, just so you know, most vets are now recommending giving them a few weeks apart. And, the AAHA is now recommending that the DHPP be given every three years after the inital puppy shots and first year shot. You might want to read this:
