often there is a very good reason for a breeder not wanting a dog or puppy they sold to be used for breeding.
The fact that the particular dog or puppy is just not quality that it should be used for breeding and passing on its genes is a very valid reason.
You would have to be active in the show rings to learn what is and what isn't a show quality and what should or shouldn't be used for breeding. And then of coure, there is the possibility of health issues that are not expressed in this dog but can potentially turn up in its offspring.
Breeding pet quality only moves the generations further and further away from looking like nice quality yorkies.
