I tried my hand at grooming Chloe myself for the first time tonight. I have to admit that I'm actually surprised at how well it turned out. I will probably still take her to the groomer's to have her nails, feet, and bum trimmed because I'm not quite that brave. But, even though I like our groomer a lot, I don't trust myself to be able to explain what I want Chloe to look like and I'm terrified of her getting cut too short. So I just bought a pair of stylist's scissors and went to work! Chloe was amazingly well-behaved for me, although she kept wanting to sit down which made it hard to do her rear end!
