my furbaby is a rescue and she came to me with the name gypsy. i knew i was going to change it and when i went and picked her up, she was sleeping in her kennel and seemed really woozy and discombobulated, so we called her typsy.
i knew i was going to change her name, but i didn't know to what. originally, i was going to call her jolie, but when i mentioned it to someone, he said "you mean like angelina jolie" and i was like ooooooohhhh noooooooooooooo!!!!!
back to the drawing board!!
i knew i wanted a french name that had a good meaning (b/c i've wanted to learn french for a long time). she's such a blessing to me that i finally came up with bijou, which means jewel. her middle name, estelle, is from my deceased mom.
it took me about 3 weeks to come up with her name LOL
