but maybe the owner does not know much about breeding as we see on here daily and they did not know this was dangerous to have her give birth to the puppies if the dad is much bigger. It is in my opinion up to the vet to educate pet owners of these things to keep a dog safe from being hurt as the vet has more knowledge of what can happen in this situation. So maybe this owner had no clue a pelvis could shatter in this case. There are alot of uneducated pet owners we see it on here daily in the breeding section.
