I use Frontline Plus. I hate using it actually. My boys are 12lbs and 5 lbs. I split a tube between the 2 of them and do it every 6 weeks or so. This keeps the ticks off (I live in a very tick populated area!). BUT I notice my 5lb boy gets very 'blah' for a day or so afterwards and he usually throws up the next day after I do it. I hate doing this to them and using that stuff.
This year I bought them some garlic bagel treats from Solid Gold. This is supposed to help with fleas and ticks and so far, I have not had to use frontline and have not had a tick on them yet, or fleas. Keeping my fingers crossed that this works.
