Default Pet First Aide Kit

I would really appreciate it if some of you who have bred and raised Yorkies and other dogs for years would make a list of the pet first-aide supplies that you keep in your house.

I have read many of the posts about sick and injuried animals and see some of the same products mentioned over and over again (with proper dosages), but have never kept a list.

I am the first one in the world to take my pets to a vet if they are sick or injuried --- but sometimes things happen in the evening or in the middle of the night and you need to do something right away or need to do something before you can get to the vet.

Examples of the types of things I am wondering about are - treating minor cuts and abrasions - washing eyes out - inducing vomiting - forcing fluids - allergic reactions ----- more or less the same types of supplies you might find in a human-first-aide kit. Nothing harmful or dangerous -

When different products are mentioned - what they are for and how much is used.

Really would appreciate your responses or ideas.

Thanks a lot --- Carol Jean

PS -- I keep reading about all these pet emergencies and would certainly feel more comfortable if I had at least some things in my house in case of an emergency. Thanks again!
