He should probably rest his leg and limit his activity for at least a few days. Doodlebug has Grade 2 LP and he jumped off the back steps and held his leg. We watched him and limited his jumping and playing for at least a week. He would occasionally lift it during that time but with rest it get better. I also called the vet for reassurance and followed what he told me to do. Give the vet a call in the morning.
