Hi Ringo, No she can't lick up there. I apply it on top of her back right by her tail. I have been applying a few drops there as fleas come from all over so when they (fleas) crawl up her hind legs & across the back & up to the area where it is recommended I feel I have coverered both head & tail
I have been doing it for tilly for the last 9 1/2 years and I have never seen any flea dirt on her.
