He is active at periods, mostly when he wants to get out of the kitchen or when we first come home from work. When we go for a walk he'll walk or run with me and wag his tail and what not, but once we get home and he gets in the living room, he just wants to lay around underneath us. That's why I think he's just feeling a little lonely.
