I am sorry you lost a puppy. I agree with Yorkie Rose that the bedding should not be real thick. I have never had a mom smother a pup either and my whelping boxes do not have rails. I use bottomless whelping boxes and I set the box on top of some sheets with a heating pad underneath. |
