Some times their penis gets dry and can not go back in, you can sit him in a warm tub of water to re-moisten it and wash any debris off it. It will take a few minutes and go back in by its self.
But a cold cloth on the warm body that might be what is causing him to shake like that, be careful you might shock the body.
