Thanks. I know not all Yorkies hate kids, but for some reason mine does. He just barks a lot at em. Then, of course, they run away and he barks even more. I've tried to socialize him with kids, and he'll lick them if I hold him, but when he's on the ground I don't trust him. He might give a soft nip, and if the kid pulls away they might get scratched.
Still, the kids in the neighborhood always say hi to him when they drive by.
I hope you get the dog. I think you'd be great with him. Fleas. Yuck!
We don't have fleas where I live.
