You guys may hate me, but Yorkies and little kids don't always get along. Kids want what they want, and a Yorkie is a toy breed, and kids want toys. The problem is you can't just throw the dog in a toybox when you are finished playing with him.
If you really feel comfortable taking this dog in as a rescue, I think that's great, but the whole thing sounds fishy to me, and I wouldn't believe anything this owner says. Yorkies are really smart, they tend to be easy to train, but some things like peeing all over the house, barking and biting can be problems with this particular breed. Just read some of the posts in this forum.
Regardless, $500 is rediculous, even with the bonus fleas. Good luck with this, and I'll be watching this post to see what happens. Obviously, this little guy needs help, and you definitely sound like the person to do it. |
