My groomer has done that so many times to my dogs. The dog that she did it all the time was my Pom/poodle mix, but it really grew it's hair back fast.
Some people who cut people's hair do the same thing!!!! Can't tell you how many times I have had my hair cut "too short."
I think this has happened to all of us. If the same groomer continues to do it, you'll have to try another groomer.
