You need to make sure you have something in her system at least every 2 hours. 4 hours is too long. She needs the nutrical to get her blood sugar up but then it will plummet back down again, so she needs a protein with it. This is VERY IMPORTANT. Once you get a pea sized glob of nutrical in her, give her a teaspoon of meat baby food. Beech Nut makes a beef, chicken, or turkey one that is great and is 100% meat. If you can't get that, you can do Gerbers but theirs has cornstarch in it. (It's OK, but 100% meat is better.)

This baby will need 24/7 supervision until she's at least 2 pounds. Once hypoglycemia starts, it's a very difficult cycle to beat. You want to keep the blood sugar STABLE, not have the ups and downs. That is what is causing the symptoms you are seeing with the glazed look, lethargy, etc. Once they get to that point, it's very hard to get the sugars up so PREVENTION IS KEY. Make sure she has something in her system every 2 hours and yes, that is round the clock. It doesn't have to be a LOT, she is tiny, but it has to be something until her body can start self regulating.

As for the parasites, follow your vets advice and recommendations but if she is having diarrhea, she will probably need to be hospitalized and on IV fluids.

These little ones can do downhill VERY QUICKLY. It will take a lot of diligence on your part to get her through this and hopefully you are up for the challenge. Keep us posted.
