I also have a Border and a Border/Sheltie the Border doesn't really like the pup at all but will tolerate him he is 7 years old. The border/sheltie 3 years old took about a month to get where he would play with the pup.
I still have to watch so they don't play to ruff and hurt Cooper who is now 5 months and 6 1/2 pounds.
Go for it but watch them close when you first get the Yorkie it only takes a second for them to get hurt. I never left them alone together and I made sure that I always knew where cooper was at all times when the dogs were in the house together. |
