Cry Extremely SICK 12 week puppy (weighs 1.2 pounds)

Hello Everyone,

My name is Susan and I'm new to this site. I wanted to introduce myself to everyone and hope someone might be able to help us get through this difficult time.

My boyfriend and I bought a puppy from a private breeder last weekend. When we got her she was lively but was tugging on her ears and had loose stool.

At approximately 3 in the morning we woke up with her pooping and vomiting in her crate. By 7 am she couldn't walk and wasn't responding. I rushed over to the hospital and noticed she peed on herself. She was laying on the table lifeless, it was horrible.

We were told Sophie was positive for ear mites. Fecal test also came back positive for giardia and she was also positive for hypoglycemia and has anemia too.

She remained in the hospital all day, and by the time I picked her up in the afternoon she looked better. Once I started giving her the deworming medication she became weak. She slept all day and barely drank any water. Each time she tried to move she would wobble and collapse. At one point she became unresponsive to the point she seemed she went blind. You would call her name and no reaction. She refused to eat or take her nutrical. I couldn't bare to see her suffer and rushed her to an emergency clinic. She stayed over night again and the doctor confirmed once again she was hypoglycemic, anemic and had Giardia. They watched her all night and noticed her sugar dropped during the night and added more sugar to her IV. By the time we picked her up she looked so much better. She was active on the ride to her vet. We decided to leave her at the vet to keep a close watch on her during the day. I felt relieved that she was looking better and was in good care, but I know we still have a long road ahead of us. I picked her back up at 5:30 and she seemed gloomy. By the time we got home she was wobbling once again, unable to walk and sleeping a lot. We're feeding her every 4 hours with food and some nutrical, but it just doesn't seem to be enough.

Does anyone have any suggestion or any advice that might be able to help us? Please let us know, we really appreciate it.

~Susan
