I am glad that her liver is normal size and functioning well.
Ultra Sounds are only approx. 60% accurate in seeing a shunt, and the Tech doing the U/S has to be extremely skilled...So just because they didn't see a shunt on the U/S doesn't mean there isn't one...And you cannot see MVD at all, ever, on a U/S. Glad they checked over the bladder, bc the U/S is def. good to see if there are any stones, which MVD and LS dogs are prone to.
I don't know her story, but the BAT of 96 is probably MVD. Did the Specialist go over all of this with you? |
