I live in a 2 1/2 story old farmhouse that I am currently remodeling. I get field mice in the spring and fall. My 3 1/2 pound pet girl goes absolutely nutty for them. Last night I was on here reading and all of the sudden she bolted and ran right into the bottom of the stove. She banged her head, yelped, then proceeded to growl and try to bury her head under the stove. She continued to do this in a line from the stove around half the kitchen following the mouses path. Each time banging her head, yelping, then growling.
Well this morning we go outside to potty and she runs to the edge of the yard and does the growling again. All of the sudden she jumps about 10 feet in the air and runs behind me yapping. Low and behold out comes a chipmunk and it runs right by us. She kept yapping but would not come out from behind me...
