It is very scary that they prescribed medication for her without checking her chart.

The receptionist at my vet's office just called in the wrong prescription for Lady a few weeks ago. I asked for Phenobarbital and got Diazepam (Valium). Both are controlled substances. An inexcusable and potentially dangerous mistake.

That's why we aren't allowed to do any refills for prescriptions. The RVT and the tech assistants are the only ones besides vets that can refill meds. We just transfer calls
