The receptionist at my vet's office just called in the wrong prescription for Lady a few weeks ago. I asked for Phenobarbital and got Diazepam (Valium). Both are controlled substances. An inexcusable and potentially dangerous mistake.  |
That's why we aren't allowed to do any refills for prescriptions. The RVT and the tech assistants are the only ones besides vets that can refill meds. We just transfer calls
