To sum it up, Brandi had a severe reaction to the distemper/parvo/hepatitis/parainfluenza vaccine also called DH2PP or DHPP. One year later, she was given this same vaccine and although she was given a steroid as a premed precaution, she went into anaphylactic shock and died at 2 1/2 years old.
Discuss your options with your vet -- if your dog has had a reaction to a vaccine, the reactions only get WORSE each time. You can consider limiting vaccines by doing titers...Discuss with your vet and if your vet is not up on the current medicine, find one that is.
