pain depends on the dog. some don't show pain regardless what is wrong. some scream bloody murder when you cut their nails or pluck the hair out of their ears
i've seen dogs with horrible breaks that act like nothing is wrong. labs are famous for this. hahaha you know what they say, no brain no pain.
