Does not work the same as pumpkin. I bought a sweet potato and mircowaved it and made his treats with it, but it didn't help him poop. If it did, it wasn't as quick. I make Prince these patties with pumpkin and other healthy foods, and keep the batch in the freezer. He'll have a patty every other day, or so. They are low cal, made in the US, and Mr. Picky loves them.
