Sorry, forgot to state that the dosage is 2.7 mg/pound (on the box). My numbers and math actually came from my vet (also on the box). This is the product I use all the time on my dogs and cats. There is a chart on the Product Info sheet. The reason I posted here at all was to be sure the OP knew the difference in the strength of the product (120mg as opposed to 60mg). Also states "for use on dogs at least 6 weeks of age" on the box.
And yes, on the chart inside the box it states to give dogs weighing 5.1-10 pounds .25ml of 120mg/ml potency, which is 0.125ml or 0.125cc which needs to be taken out of the 3ml tube with an insulin syringe. |
