ladyjane: I asked him that. He said he'd like to wait until her bones are matured (1 yr.). I also asked him if he was certain it is hip displasia and not Legg Perthes. He said there is clearly no blood loss to the bone and no deteriation. He is certain. Hip Displasia is just hard for me to comprehend, because I see that as a large breed issue, not a small dogs, and definitely not puppies this young. So I think I am trying to convince myself it cannot possibly be that. He did say that he would proceed with the FHO if rest and meds do not offer immediate relief.
