One of my other dogs did the same thing.

She was the sweetest, most gentle, playful little dog in the world.

BUT - when she was lying on the davenport or bed and resting or sleeping,
you had better not try to move her. She was comfortable and loved where she was at - and did not want to be moved --period!!! And she was going to fight to stay there.

Of course, I could tell her to knock it off and move her anyway, but everyone else was even afraid to try it.

Can you imagine me trying to make my bed in the morning??? World War III.

Anyway - I'd just let her be - if at all possible, which was most of the time.
I didn't consider it much of a problem. She was just comfortable and wanted to stay that way.

No worse than trying to get some kids out of bed.
